Dorothy T. DeFazio
Dorothy T. DeFazio, 85, of Rome, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Albany, N.Y. on September 28, 1925. On October 23, 1973, she married George DeFazio in Rome. He passed away May 22, 1977. Dorothy was a housekeeper in the local area. She was a member of St. Peter's Church.
Surviving are three dear friends, Jean Kinney, Westdale, Rosalie Platt and Jennifer Platt, both of Williamstown.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rome Humane Society, P.O. Box 4572, Rome, N.Y. 13442-4572.
