Obituary of Josephine Kicak

Josephine Kicak Josephine Kicak, 81, of Rome, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on March 24, 1930, daughter of the late Pasquale and Angela Ciciarelli Conti. On May 29, 1954, she married John J. Kicak. He passed away June 19, 2008. Josephine was a member of St. Peter's Church. Surviving are a son, Brad Kicak, Blossvale; three grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher and Andrew Kicak, Blossvale; a sister and brother- in-law, Virginia and Robert Anderson, Rome; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John, a daughter, Lugena Kicak, two brothers, Vincent Conti and Rick Conti, and two sisters, Catherine Bova and Angela Ghisalbert. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Cemetery, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
