Martha A. Pelton
Martha A. Pelton, 80, of Rome, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Rome Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Rome, NY, on August 22 1931, daughter of the late Anthony and Grace Palazzola. Martha attended Rome Schools. In 1972 she married James H. Pelton in Rome. She was a former employee of Rome State School, Broadacres, and Oneida County Hospital. Martha was a member of New Testament Church. Surviving besides her husband James, are three sons and a daughter-in- law, Eddie and Patricia Kienowski, Orlando, FL; James A. Pelton, Rome; William Pelton, Utica; a daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Jeff Lee, Forestport; four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Camille Joseph, Rochester, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 218 W. Court St.. Burial will be in McConnellsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 5 to 8 p.n.
