Pauline F. Richie Pauline F. Richie, 86, of Rome, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011, at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY on April 2, 1925, daughter of the late Nick and Theresa Scicchitano Facciolo. Pauline was educated in Rome schools. On November 11, 1949 she married Robert J. Richie in St. John the Baptist Church. Pauline retired from the former Rome State School. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband of 62 years, Bob, are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rhonda Richie, Rome; three grandchildren, Shannon and husband Jeph Fillion, Robert Richie II, and Danielle Richie and fiance Derek Goodroe; two great-grandchildren Robert P. Richie and Alexandria Richie. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, John "Hogan" Facciolo, Rome, and Tony and Tina Facciolo, Syracuse; two brothers-in-law, Victor Pugliese, Clinton, and Ralph Rossi, Rome; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Pugliese, Gloria and Dick Rice, and Priscilla Rossi; a brother and sister-in- law, Nick and Joan Facciolo; and a sister-in-law, Frances Facciolo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 218 W. Court St., Rome.
