Ralph L. Worlock Ralph L. Worlock, 91, of Rome passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Utica, NY on December 2, 1921, son of the late Lyle F. and Angeline McMullen Worlock. On November 25, 1948 he married Angela M. DeNoia in St. John the Baptist Church. She passed away February 11, 2011. Ralph was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy, and a member of St. Peter's Church where he attended daily mass while his health permitted. He and his wife Angie began the Bereavement Committee at St. Peter's Church and were members of The Senior's Guild and the Nocturnal Adoration Society. Ralph looked forward to Sister de Paul Juliano's twice weekly visits where she brought him Holy Communion. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps. Ralph retired from Rome Manufacturing Company where he had worked for many years as a night watchman. Ralph loved music and played the guitar. Surviving are a daughter, Sister Mary Josita (Angela) Worlock P.V.M.I., Monroe, NY; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Patricia Worlock, Dallas, TX, Richard and Mary Ann Worlock, Rome; a granddaughter, Wendy and her husband Scott; two great-grandchildren, Judah Michael and Ian Joshua, all of Schuyler, NY. Also surviving are a brother, Paul A. Worlock and his wife Ines; and a brother-in-law, Robert Kaier, all of Rome. He was predeceased by his wife Angie; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Doris Worlock; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dorothy and James Boyle, Marie and Jack Griffiths, and Rosemary Kaier. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Antonino DiMarco and staff, and Rome Memorial Hospital staff on Two East and Two North for their excellent care and compassion. Ray and Angela are most grateful for all the love and care that Richard and Mary Ann gave both our parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at 5:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate, PO Box 658 Monroe NY, 10949.
