Obituary of Leonard M. Pedde

Leonard M. Pedde Leonard M. Pedde, 74, of Rome, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at home. He was born in Rome, NY on August 31, 1938, son of the late Michael and Mary Oneto Pedde. After his father passed away, he was raised by his mother and step-father Antonio Cocchiaro. Leonard graduated from Rome Free Academy class of 1956. He served with the US Army and National Guard. On February 25, 1978 he married Kathleen Farino in Rome. Leonard retired from Rome Developmental Center. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife Kathleen, are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Michel Pedde, Utica; two grandchildren, Antonio and Sabrina; a sister-in-law, Patricia Farino; and two nephews, Michael Pedde and Douglas Pedde, all of Rome. He was predeceased by a brother, Louis Pedde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
