Obituary of William J. Smith

William J. Smith William J. Smith, 43, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was born in Rome, NY on January 21, 1970, son of the late William and Catherine Powell Smith. Billy was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. He moved to Las Vegas, NV, with his family where he resided for twenty years. Billy was employed by Mission Linens and was a member of the Teamsters Union in Las Vegas. He also was owner of a vending and electronic video game business. Currently he resided in Frankfort and was employed by United Cerebral Palsy, in Utica. Billy enjoyed boating, fishing and all water sports. Billy will be missed, loved and in our hearts forever. Surviving are his cherished family, a son, William "Scooby" Smith, Utica; a daughter, Jessica Smith, Las Vegas, NV; a loving sister and brother-in-law, Loret and Robert Skinner; a nephew James Roberts, all of Frankfort; and aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished close friends.
