Carmella "Dolly" R. Robinson

Carmella "Dolly" R. Robinson, 78, of Sherrill, passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at home. She was born in Rome, NY on July 15, 1928, daughter of the late Carmello and Giovanna Griffo Gualtieri. On March 3, 1973 she married Donald E. Robinson in Rome. Dolly was a former employee of Stonehedge Nursing Home, White Laundry, and New Systems Laundry. She was a member of St. Helena's Church in Sherrill. Dolly also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Surviving besides her husband, Don, are sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Felicia DeLutis and Maria Harmon, and four brothers, Frank "Hank" Gualtieri, Dominick Gualtieri, Joseph Gualtieri, and Rosario Gualtieri.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM at St. John's Cemetery Chapel, Rome. Friends may call at the NICHOLAS J. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 218 W. Court St. Rome, on Sunday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413.
