William H. Baer William H. Baer , 75, of Rome, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Rome Memorial Hospital . He was born in Monocasy, Pa, on February 14, 1934 son of the late William C. and Beulah Sheetz.Baer. Mr. Baer served with the U.S. Air Force for 23 years. In 1955 he married Julia Wright. On February 18,1987 he married. Deborah Livingston, in Marcy, New York. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Rome. Bill was an avid woodworker,bowler,and golfer. Survivng besides his wife,Deborah,are a son,William R.Baer and companion,Liana Young,San Diego,Calif.;two daughters,Nancy Baer and companion,Robert Uribe,Pine Valley, Calif.., Dr Janet Baer,and companion, Dr. Tim Lawson, Pasadena, Calif.;six grandchildren, Megan,Kristie,Kimberly,Alex,Samantha and Olivia; step children;Nicole and Natalie Cataldo.Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law,Mildred and William Leinbach,Birdsboro,Pa,; and several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a brother,Richard Baer. We would like to thank our wonderful family and friends for all thei support and love. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc.,218 W. Court St. burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00am to 12:00pm In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care,Inc.,4277 Middle Settlement.Road, New Hartford,N.Y.13413. .
