Janet I. Apgar

Janet I. Apgar, 64, of Rome, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 at home. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on October 22, 1942, daughter of the late Herbert and Rita Hyde Marshall. Janet married Paul F. Apgar in Rome, who passed away in 1983.

Surviving are five sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Michelle Apgar, Paul Jr. and Carol Apgar, Michael Apgar, Robert Apgar and Daniel Apgar, and a daughter, Kathy Apgar, all of Rome; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, James and Elaine Marshall, Leonard and Joyce Marshall, Gerald Marshall, Herbert and Suzie Marshall, all of Rome; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Louise and Norman Paddleford, Velma and Ron Curtis, Norma and Jan Jarvis, Theresa and Randy Vetter, Lori and Craig Come, Billy Jo Shuck, all of Rome; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Marshall.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-7 p.m.
