Mary L. Martin

Mary L. Martin, 75, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in West Carthage, NY on October 16, 1931, daughter of the late George A. and Ethel M. Planty Cummins. Mary graduated from Troy High School. On September 30, 1950 she married Harold F. Martin in Troy, NY. He passed away December 13, 1974.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Linda Martin, and a daughter, Cindy Reagan, all of Rome; five grandchildren, Keith Martin, Holli Martin, Kevin Martin, all of Florida, Josh Martin, Rome, and Libby Reagan, Florida. Also surviving are a brother, Jim Cummins, Troy, N.Y., two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna Lennox, Troy, N.Y., Pat and Chet Smith, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Leonard Reagan, and two brothers, Harry Cummins and Jack Cummins, and a sister, Laura Cleveland.

Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
