Salvatore Corasiniti

Salvatore Corasiniti, 93, of Rome, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on March 27, 1914, son of the late Pasquale and Giovanna Posca Corisiniti. Sal served with the U. S. Army from 1935-1937. In 1965, he married Elinore Cowie in Santa Monica, Calif. He was a former restaurant owner.

Surviving besides his wife, Elinore, are a niece, Caroline, and her husband, Frank Pagani, Westchester, N.Y. He was predeceased by three brothers, Frank,Rocco and Gregory.

Sal was a loving person who enjoyed reading and had gained much knowledge throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed traveling.

Services will be private. There are no calling hours. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
