Obituary of Peter V. Amuso

Peter V. Amuso Peter V. Amuso, 87, of Rome, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rome, NY on December 2, 1920, son of the late Vincenzo and Amelia St. Thomas Amuso. Peter attended Rome schools. He retired from Rome Developmental Center and Griffiss Air Force base. Mr. Amuso was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and former member of Rome Moose Club. Surviving are two brothers, Pat Amuso and Frank Amuso; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Michael (Rose) Amuso and Mary Amuso, all of Rome. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Amuso and Vincent Joe Amuso and two sisters, Rose Amuso and Nancy Mahoney, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Amuso. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Entombment will be in St. Johns Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 218 W. Court St.
