Obituary of Rosemary J. Argenzia

Rosemary J. Argenzia , 86, of Rome, passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on May 11, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Lucy Romano. On October 15, 1945 she married Salvatore A. Argenzia in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away July 15, 1978. Mrs. Argenzia retired from the Rome City School District. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Caren Argenzia, and a grandson, Tory Argenzia, all of Kapolei, Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Minica Vescio and Angeline Scaccia, and two brothers, Anthony Romano and Joseph Romano.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
