Jennie Bottcher Jennie Bottcher, 93, who resided with her niece and nephew, Barbara and Tony LoVaglio of Rome, prior to her admission to Bethany Gardens, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Skilled Living Center. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on March 9,1916, daughter of the late John and Rosalia Scazzari Spinella. On April 28,1940, she married Charles J. Bottcher in the Bronx, N.Y. He passed away February 18,1985. Jennie was a member of St. Mary's Church. Surviving are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary LoViglio, Jean and George Joseph, all of Rome; a sister-in-law, Jean Spinella, Lee Center. Also surviving are several nieces ansd nephews, including JoAnn (Scott) Cook, Lee, Maria (Bob) Ritchie, Lee, Joseph (Margaret) LoVaglio, Blossvale; and great nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Natalle, Abigail and Emily Cook, Connor and Keegan Ritchie and Jessica, Garrett and Wyatt LoVaglio. She was predeceased by five brothers, Paul Spinelli, James Spinella, Jack Spinelli, Joseph Spinelli and Sam Spinelli. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff at Bethany Gardens and to Dr. Todd Podkowka for their wonderful and outstanding care and compassion shown to Jennie and her family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis of C.N.Y., 7445 Morgan Road, Liverpool, N.Y.13090
