Mary M Mooney

Mary M. Mooney, 43, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital. .She was born in Rome, NY on February 6, 1965, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Lovett Barretta. Mary graduated from Rome Free Academy. On June 18,1988, she married Richard F. Mooney Jr. in St. John's Lutheran Church. Mary was a former employee of Nora's Candy and Rome Developmental Center. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her husband, Richard, are a daughter, Gina Mooney at home; a brother, Anthony Barretta, Rome; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucy and Michael Wheeler, Rome, Patricia and Edward Talerico, Utica, Linda and Mark Wheeler, Rome. Also surviving are mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Richard Mooney Sr., Rome; sisters-in-law and brothers -in-law, Michelle and Mike Masucci, Julie and Brian Massuci, all of Pennsylvania, and Tina Mooney, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, including Lucy and Albert Mastraccio, Rome; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., on Friday from 1-4 p.m. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery
