Obituary of Lucille M. Anania

Lucille M. Anania Lucille M. Anania, 76, of Rome, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY on December 9, 1931, daughter of the late John and Irene Venturo Anania. Lucille graduated from Rome free Academy. She was a former employee of Herb Philipsons Army and Navy.She was a member of St. Peters Church.Lucille was a spiritual daughter of St. Pio,member of the Friends of Divine Mercy,life member of Delta Omega Society, and was an avid reader and Civil War buff. She was also a lover of animals and never met one she didnt love. Surviving are two brothers, John Anania Jr., Sylvan Beach, Paul Anania Rome;Two sisters and brother-in-law,Dolores and Nick Guglielmo, Arizona, Eleanor Martin, Long Island; and several nieces and nephews and close friends, including Linda,Jim and Michael. She was predeceased by a sister, Annette Anania, and a brother-in-law, William Martin. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Church where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery.There are no calling hours.
