As a young engineer fresh out of school in 1968, I rented a room from Carmen at his residence on Kilbourne Rd. Carmen was my mentor and helped me in countless ways
to be not only from the technical/engineering side but more importantly to be a man. I was so green in those days and I look at some of the things Carmen taught me;
honesty,humility, unselfishness, etc. that you seldom find in today's world. I only wish that I would have kept in better touch since I left Rome in 1983 to pursue a career with AT&T.My heartfelt
condolences go out to Rose and his family and remember that someday you'll be together again after this coming brief period without him on earth.
