Priscilla A. Rossi Priscilla A. Rossi, 68, of W. Thomas St. passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse, with her loving family at her side after a long illness. She was born in Rome, NY on March 8, 1940 daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa Scicchitano Facciolo. Priscilla was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1958. On November 7, 1959 she was united in marriage to Ralph A. Rossi Sr. in St. John the Baptist Church. Priscilla was employed by the Rome City School District for 17 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and her faith in God was a very important part of her life. Her life consisted of her dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Ralph Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Jr. and Angelica Rossi, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Ray Vanderjagt, Rome; four grandchildren, Natisha and Kristina Rossi, and Trisha and Nicole Vanderjagt. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, Anthony and Tina Facciolo, Syracuse, and John Facciolo, Rome; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Robert Ritchie, Rome; a sister-in-law, Joan Facciolo, Rome; and a brother-in-law, Victor Pugliese, Florida;and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gloria and Richard Rice, and Mary Pugliese; a brother, Nicholas Facciolo; and a sister-in-law Frances Facciolo. The family would like to express a special thank you to the ICU staff, and especially Dan, at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse, for there care and compassion shown to Priscilla. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 AM from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
