Obituary of Andrea S. Platt

Andrea S. Platt Andrea S. Platt, 65, of Lyons Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014, at Faxton-St. Luke's Health Care, New Hartford. She was born in Rome, NY, on August 8, 1948, daughter of the late Andrew and Shirley Froilich Augustine. In 1967 she married Robert "Smiley" Platt in Great Bend, PA. He passed away September, 14, 1996. Andrea was a retired LPN, from the State of New York at Pine Hill, Utica. She was a former member of Point Rock Fish and Game Club and loved baseball especially the Atlanta Braves. Surviving are a son, Gene Platt and girlfriend Tina Danielski, Holland Patent, two daughters, Cheryl Taylor, Utica and Tina Dunlap and her fiancé Robert Gualtieri, Lyons Falls, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers and their spouses Daniel and Barb Augustine, VA, Jeffery Augustine, FL, Andrew Augustine and partner Allen Ditch, Syracuse and Marty Augustine, VA, a sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Donald Hall, Point Rock and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Michael and John Augustine and a sister Melody Augustine. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., Rome. Burial will be in Westernville Cemetery.
