Please share a memory of Pasquale to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pasquale T. Ciotti Pasquale T. Ciotti, 74, of Rome, was welcomed into heaven from his home on July 25, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He left this life very peacefully with his loving family by his side. Patsy was born in Rome, NY on March 22, 1940, son of the late Arcangelo and Margaret Seriani Ciotti. On August 24, 1963 he married Donna Summa, in Saint John the Baptist Church. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage and together raised four daughters. Their 50th anniversary was a memorable celebration with a family vacation in Myrtle Beach. Pasquale graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1959. After seeing his wife and daughters complete their college educations, he too wanted to achieve this goal. In 1996, he graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College with an Associate's degree in Occupational Studies Manufacturing Production Technology. This was a very proud accomplishment for him and his family. While completing his degree, Patsy remarked several times how he couldn't wait to have a big backyard graduation party like his wife and daughters had. It was a huge gathering of family and friends in his honor. Pasquale retired from Revere Copper Products as a Quality Control Analyst after 42 years of service. He also proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1968. He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for several years. He was an active member of the Toccolano Club. Patsy looked forward to fishing season every year and his annual trip to Black Lake with his buddies. He also enjoyed the many times fishing with his "sons" and grandsons but his best times were spent with his family. Everyone knew they could find Patsy and his entire family at his home every Sunday for macaroni. Grandpa and his grandchildren loved making "homemades" together. He also enjoyed the Ciotti gatherings: the yearly Christmas party, family picnic, Easter bread contest and monthly family club meetings. Patsy always enjoyed having company to sit around the table and visit. Pat was such a loving, giving man with a warm welcoming smile. His home was always open and he made you feel like one of the family. Surviving besides his wife Donna, are four daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, Kim, Erik, Joshua and Jarred Luczak, Tammy, Frank, Ryan and Aaron DiMezzo, Robin, Todd, Riley and Danica Lanzi and Kristin, Aaron and Oscar Page, all of Rome, Sisters, Olympia Carletta, Rome and Louise Snyder, (Illinois), brothers and sisters-in-law, Gabriel and Karen Ciotti, Anthony and Sue Ciotti, sisters-in-law Palma Ciotti, all of Rome, Ruth Fraccola (California), Johann Ciotti, Rome, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Leonard and Carol Summa (Ohio), Carmine and Mary Jane Stagliano (South Carolina) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
