Rosemary Latini Rosemary Latini, 70, 0f Rome, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Oneida Healthcare Center, Oneida. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on April 5,1939, daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Farino Genovese. Rosemary attended Rome Schools. On February 7,1959, she married William P. Latini in St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Libra officiating, a blessed union of 50 years. She was a former employee of Nunn's answering service and Dr. Robert Alessi's office, where she was a receptionist. Rosemary was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, where she was a former Eucharistic minister, assistant for religious education and worked with the church's hospital ministry. Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lauri and Michael Eckert, Warrenton, Va., Christine and Michael Reeves, Blossvale, N.Y., Mary Ann Latini Furner, Fredericksburg, Va.; six grandchildren, Kathryn, Maria and Caroline Eckert, Amanda and Christopher Brown, Olivia Furner. Also surviving are a brother and two sisters-in-law, James and Elaine Genovese, Marcy, Marilyn Genovese, and two aunts, Antoinette Farino and Lillian Ritchie, all of Rome; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Genovese. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Oneida Healthcare Center ICU and the fourth floor for their amazing care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
