Obituary of Freda M. Medick

Freda M. Medick Freda M. Medick, 87 of Rome, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY, on February 22, 1927 daughter of the late Frederick and Beatrice Hetrick Jones. Freda was employed by the City of Rome Corporation Council. She was a former employee of Goldberg's of Rome, for several years as head bookkeeper. Freda was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie McClain, Dawn and Ron Montana all of Rome, two grandchildren Joshua and his wife Angel McClain, Samantha Martin, four step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-great great grandchildren. Also surviving are a nephew Frederick and his wife Nora Jaynes, Rome, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.
