Obituary of Irene Gabor Fayette

Irene Gabor Fayette Irene Gabor Fayette, 92, of Wading River, NY, formerly of Rome passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014. She was born in Massena, NY, daughter of the late, Charles and Anna Sarboc Gabor. Irene married the late Austin J. Fayette in Massena, NY, on October 23, 1941. She was dearest mother of four children; Ann (Roger) Mellen, Rome, Sandra (Gail Maree, deceased) Fayette, Wading River, NY, Joseph Fayette (deceased) and Steven (Leslie) Fayette, Wading River, NY. Also surviving are cherished grandchildren, David, Audrey, Amos, Elizabeth, Madeline and Abigail; seven beloved great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Surviving are a sister, Ann Patterson, Massena, NY, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Isabelle Gabor, Bettendorf, IA. She was predeceased by her husband Austin, a sister Mary DeFayette, two brothers; Charles and George Gabor. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014, from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. at 10:00 a.m., and at St. Peter's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Philip Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Holland Patent Cemetery.
