Obituary of Concetta "Connie" G. Rutz

Concetta "Connie" G. Rutz Concetta "Connie" G. Rutz, 97, of Rome passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility. She was born in Rome, NY on September 18, 1917, daughter of the late Alquino and Christine DeLoreto Vito. Connie attended Rome Schools. On June 28, 1941, she married Arthur V. Rutz who passed away on June 30, 1987. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Joan and Eugene Terenzetti and Nancy Rutz all of Rome, and a grandson, Jon Terenzetti, of Providence, RI. Also surviving are four sisters-in-law, Mozelle Vito, Verona, Irene Rutz and Rose Rutz, Rome, and Cecelia Rutz, CA, several nieces and nephews and her special friend, Betty Irving. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis and Philomena Vito, Ralph and Rita Vito and brother, Armand Vito; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Fred Selvetti, Rose and Fritz Pantzer, and sister Florence Vito. Also, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Rutz, Albert Rutz, Adam Rutz, Howard and Ruth Rutz, Mary (Rutz) and Ray Yager. Connie's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility for their wonderful care, love and compassion. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7:15 p.m., at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
