Mickey was a special part of South Rome. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, no matter where you went in our part of town you saw Mickey. He was tough, funny, and always on the move and one thing ingrained in my memory is Mickey on his scooter. Whether posted online or offered in a card or in person, all the condolences on the Mick's behalf will show how much a part of South Rome he was. Not just as individuals, but we as a whole, we will all miss Mickey.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mick's passing.I've known Mickey for about 50 years having grown up on Lawrence St,and played alot of sand lot sports with Mick when we were younger.I'm down in Florida right now and unable to make the services but I had to offer my condolences.He will be missed.But I bet he's giving all the NY Yankees in heaven a run for their money.Again,so sorry.
