Phyllis M. Ciccotti
Phyllis M. Ciccotti, 78, of Rome, passed away Friday April 10, 2015 at home. She was born in Rome, NY, on June 22, 1936 daughter of the late John and Josephine (Ragonese) DeMario. On June 29, 1956 she married Anthony "Tokes" Ciccotti, in St. John the Baptist Church. Phyllis was formerly employed for Carl's Drug Stores and Griffiss Air Force Base, before devoting her life to raising her family.
Phyllis loved her family. She loved cooking, baking, Sunday dinners, telling stories of her childhood and the NY Yankees. Her loving personality touched everyone's heart. She will be sadly missed. We love you!
She is survived by her husband "Tokes" and children Michelle Corigliano, Mindy (David) Marino, Marisa Ciccotti all of Rome, grandchildren; Nicholas Corigliano, Matthew (Kim) Marino, Steven (Brandi) Corigliano, Alana (Adam) Nelson, and cherished great grandchildren; Emmalynn, Madelynn, Brodie, Madison, Emma, Taylor and Lydia. Also surviving is a sister Lucille Froio, a sister-in-law Mary Ciccotti, a brother-in-law Lindy Voci all of Rome and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Angeline and Enrico Ciccotti, and a brother and sister-in-law Salvatore (Sam) and Marge DeMario, son-in-law James Corigliano, brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard Froio, Joseph and Terry Ciccotti, Louis and Julia Ciccotti, Louise and Joseph LaGatta, Ascanio and Iva Ciccotti, Orlando "Conse" Ciccotti and Sue Voci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. The family will receive friends at church following her Mass. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
