Florence 'Joan' C. Facciolo Florence 'Joan' C. Facciolo , 76, of Rome, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital . She was born in Utica, NY on January 10, 1932, daughter of the late George and Lillian Worden Zogby. On June 5,1952, she married. Nicholas M. Facciolo in New Jersey, a blessed union of 49 years until his death on March 31,2001. Joan was a former employee of the Priscription Center. She was a member of St. Marys Church Joan had many loving friends in Rome. She had a spirit and will for life and loved to make people laugh where ever she went with her wit. She was a true giver in every sense of the word. Surviving are a lovely son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Connie Facciolo,Arizona; and a sister,Sister Laurenita Zogby,Buffalo,N.Y. Also surviving are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anthony and Tina Facciolo, Syracuse, N.Y., John Facciolo, Rome, Pauline and Bob Ritchie, Rome, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Brian Michael Facciolo,who passed away September 20, 1982; two brothers, Michael Zogby and Lawrence Zogby, three sisters, Mary Acey,Margaret Mishilanie and Kay McMaster,and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.,and at St. Marys Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to St. Marys Church Memorial Fund.
