Obituary of Genevieve DiBari

Genevieve DiBari Genevieve LaGatta DiBari, 86, of Rome, passed away on Friday, June 05, 2009. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on November 23, 1922, daughter of the late Gaetano and Incornato Iorio LaGatta. On September 28, 1946, she married John J. DiBari in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away December 14, 1977. She is survived by her two daughters and three sons: Sylvia Sallustio and her husband, Joseph, of Rome,NY, Mary Margaret Havasi and her husband, Daniel, of Murrysville, PA, John DiBari and his wife, Anne, of Slingerlands, NY, David DiBari and his wife, Margaret, of Bethesda, MD, and Edward DiBari and his wife, Jennifer, of Rome, NY. She is also survived by he 10 grandchildren: Joseph Sallustio and his wife, Rebecca, John Sallustio, Catherine Havasi, Julianne DiBari, Grace DiBari, Sofia DiBari, David DiBari, Genevieve DiBari, Maria DiBari and Giobanni DiBari; and one great granddaughter, Sydney Sallustio. She was also predeceased in death by two brothers: P. Anthony LaGatta, G. Edward LaGatta, and five sisters: Rae Clements, Josephine Tosti, Carmella Bush, Louise Link, and Anne Gregory. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J.Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
