Dear Barbara, Sharon, Mark, Katelyn and Aaron,
We felt so blessed to get to know Jim, and see how much he loved and cared about his family. He was an amazing woodworker, and Robert really enjoyed talking "wood" with him. He took such good care of everyone around him, and we will all miss him.
Love,
Jan, Robert, Erin, and Matthew Davis

I would never be tired of hearing my Uncle "Dim" telling about his and Aunt Barb's wedding day at St. John's and when he walked down the aisle and I went running down the aisle chasing after him calling, "Dim! Dim!" At the age of 2, I was drawn to him and loved him. That is my fondest memory of my dear Uncle but there are many many more.
It's difficult to say good-bye to someone who has been a part of you your entire life. The family gatherings on Pleasant Ave, picnics there and at Pixley Falls and The Auriesville Shrine, back in the day. Having lunch every day with Sharon when she was a baby in her play pen on Embargo St. Her Gramma Catherine Wells would have lunch ready for me when I walked from Jay St School at midday. Having dinner with my little "sister" Sharon several nights a week on Thomas St...Uncle Jim and Aunt Barb would cook up the best meals and Sharon and I would have tons of fun together having dinner and playing. Uncle Jim and my Dad Joe Maxim were bowling buddies, golfing buddies and they played cards together too. They often helped each other in times of need.
Uncle Jim will always be remembered for his contagious smile, sparkle in his eyes, Southern accent and above all his warm, caring and giving heart. He was a man strong in his faith and he lived it each day.
Dear and precious Uncle Jim, "You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which The Lord the righteous Judge, will award to you on this day". 2 Timothy 4: 7-8
Dear Aunt Barbara and Sharon, May the peace of Christ continually guide and rule your heart.
Love, Kathy

Barbara, Sharon, Mark, Katelyn & Aaron,
Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Jim. He was such a great joy to know and glad to have the privilege of knowing him. He always had a smile on his face when Andrew and I would come to visit. I loved his smile and his laugh. He will be missed. Know he is in good company in Heaven and I'm sure he will be there along with our other deceased family and friends to greet us when it's our turn. Last night on our way to mass, there was a beautiful rainbow in Clear Lake and all Andrew and I could do was think of Jim. Our love and prayers are with you. Happy Birthday Jim! Hugs to all.
Love, Camille & Andrew

Dearest Sharon, Mark and family,
Sending heartfelt condolences and lots of love your way as you deal with the loss of your dear father. Although I only know of him, by knowing of you and your immediate family, that is more than enough to know he was a great man.
