Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" DeLutis Cudilo

Margaret "Peggy" DeLutis Cudilo Margaret "Peggy" DeLutis Cudilo, 94, of Rome passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Masonic Care Community in Utica where she had been a resident. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on August 23, 1921 daughter of the late Nicholas and Antoinette (Stewart) DeLutis. Peggy graduated from Rome Free Academy and continued her education at the Utica School of Commerce. On November 19, 1988 in Rome, she married Martin Cudilo. Mr. Cudilo passed away on May 22, 2000. At one time she held a position with General Cable Company in Rome where she was an Executive Secretary. Peggy was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are three sisters and a brother-in-law, Jean D. Garlinghouse of Rome, Elaine D. Kowalsky of Utica, and Ann D. and Robert Nicholson of Rome. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cudilo was predeceased by two sisters, Mary D. Stellato and Dorothy D. Kopchik. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
