Obituary of Christina T. Peck

Christina T. Peck Christina T. Peck, 99 of Rome, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville. She was born in Rome, NY, on August 17, 1917, daughter of the late Louis and Theresa Simone Serra. On November 2, 1940, she married Herbert D. Peck, in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away, June 24, 1990. Christina retired from the Rome City School District where she worked in food service. She was a member of St. Paul's Church. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Eikenberg, Bonita Springs, FL, grandchildren Darcy and Dana Eikenberg, FL, Daryll and Matthew Peck, Charlotte, NC, Danny Peck and Debra Hanson Peck, Kristen Sanford, great great grandchild John David Sanford. Also surviving are daughters-in-law; Maryanne Peck, Rome, NY, Janice Peck, Charlotte, NC, a brother, Alfonso Serra, New York City and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Herb, two sons; Daniel Peck and David Peck, a son-in-law, John Eikenberg and her brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Monday day at 11:00 a.m., at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
