I was saddened to read your obituary today. I have known you to be a staunch advocate for the intellectually disabled. We were able to do a lot of good work together at Bernstein, Westmoreland Road and the Herkimer County apartment program. Your advocacy and stern, but fair supervision, enriched many of the live of the people that knew you. RIP

I am so sorry for your loss. Dick was a great boss and a wonderful friend and always had a smile for us. He was a gentle soul and he worked right along side his employees.i will miss him.

I am heart broken to hear about our Dick. He was such a great guy to work with all those years at the DDSO. He was a great supervisor to his fellow staff and to the consumers.
A great golfer and good man all the way around.
My condolences to you and your family.
Linda.

Dick was a great friend in high school, though I haven't seen him in years, I remember him as kind, funny, loyal, warm, not a mean bone in his body.
May his loved ones find peace in remembrance
