Shane R. Willson Shane R. Willson, 34, of Largo, FL, and formerly of Lee Center and Taberg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his home. He was born in Rome, NY on September 11, 1974, son of Maria "Teri" Tagliere and Robert Willson. Shane attended Adirondack and Rome schools, where he played football and lacrosse. Shane enjoyed anything involving outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, and camping. Surviving are his mother and step father, Maria "Teri" and Charles Meyers, of Choctaw, OK; his father, Robert, and his wife, Barbara Willson, of Rotterdam Junction; a previous step mother, Sandy Northrup, of Taberg; a sister, Amanda Willson Iseneker and her fianc, Joe Bonanza, his niece and nephew, Alexis and Tyler, all of Westmoreland; a brother, Cori Willson, of Blossvale; two sisters, Tai Willson and Taryn Willson, and nephews, Ethan and Evan, all of Rome. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Nancy Tagliere, of Rome; and paternal grandmother, Phyllis Willson, of Taberg; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins; and two dear friends, Tracy Wright and Bill Zalepeski. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Eustacchio "Mac" Tagliere, his paternal grandfather, Richard Willson, and three cousins, Joshua Tagliere, Nicholas Baker and Joseph Zigrino III. Shane will always be remembered for his great "raw" sense of humor and his country music. He will be sadly missed by all. We love you Sham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
