Over the 45 plus years I knew her I never referred to Mrs. Bessette by
any other name but "Mom". I always enjoyed seeing her and she always
greeted me with a small smile, a gentle hug and her singsong voice that
never once changed as she grew older. Small ways I took as great
affection for her wayward sailor son and always made me smile. There are
few better moments than that. I am glad I knew her all these years and I
share the great sadness of my brothers Bob and Rick of not having her on
the planet. Take care Mom, I will miss you, I am glad I knew you and I
will never forget you. Scott
