Joe is the one person I have contributed to my success in my Mil/Aero Career at Litton Industries , Northrup Grumman. and after my early retirement with my company NV Electronics. Joe was loyal to his family and to his friendships. His smile was always visible even when things in our lives weren't always pleasant. Joe was always there for his beautiful wife Jackie and his daughters and son-in-laws. He loved his life with his work as an engineer and after he retired, his new professional responsibility as a technical resource for his principals. I have known Joe since the days I first met him in my father's restaurant and he was bigger than life then during the sixties and when we again reacquainted each other during the seventies when I became a field engineer representing Litton Winchester. Joe amazed me with his intelligence, his knowledge and his sincerity . He made me feel like I was back at home every time I called him for his insight and help to make the right decisions in my new role as VP of Sales/ marketing for Litton Systems throughout the next two decades. I asked him for his advice when I took early retirement from Northrup Grumman and started my firm back in upstate NY. Joe was there for me again. Joe I will miss you forever. You have been in my life since I was a snotty nose kid from Utica at age 12. Yes I am feeling very sad today as the rest of my Verni family are grieving your passing. I am sure Jesus will be asking you for advice in heaven as won of his Go-TO angels with a big heart, a big smile and genuinely a great man . I love you Joe.
