Deborah A. (Lovett) Crofoot, 67, of Rome, passed away, Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born in Rome, NY, on August 8, 1951 daughter of the late John and Rose Guggi Lovett. Debbie was a graduate of Rome Catholic High Class of 1969. She retired from Wal-Mart as an accounting manager. Debbie was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, bocce and playing cards with her close friends. Surviving are a son, James Crofoot, a daughter, Ashley Crofoot, a sister and brother-in-law, Ann Marie and Rich Zakala, all of Rome. Also surviving are nieces and nephew; Alexis (Brandon) Bertrand, Matt Zakala and Jenna Zakala, all of Rome and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Lovett. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 10:15 a.m., from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., and at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio.
