Obituary of Dominick "Mico" A. Stagliano, Jr.
Dominick "Mico" A. Stagliano, Jr., 83,of Rome, a man who had an unwavering faith in man and God, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at home. He was born in Rome, NY, on September 12, 1935, son of the late Dominick and Rose DeAgazio Stagliano. Mico was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1954. He was a retired mason and construction worker for Hopkins and Riley Co., Syracuse, NY. Mico was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, former member of the Galliano Club and St. Gregory's Club.
Surviving are several cousins including; James and his wife Judy Cortese, Melbourne, FL, Jack DeAgazio, Jr.and his wife Brenda, Syracuse, Jeannie and her husband Mark Lehman, Waterville, NY, and Elizabeth DeAgazio, Charlotte, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Nicholas J. Stagliano, and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 8:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., and at 9:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio. Spring Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 2-5 p.m.
