Agnes Hubiak, 96, of Rome, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility. She was born in Rome, NY, on September 24, 1922, daughter of the late Dominick and Agnes Semo Stromei. Agnes was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. On September 16, 1944 she married Peter Hubiak in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away September 23, 1989. Agnes retired from Rome Hospital Business Office. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Nickolas Norelli, Jr., Rome, grandchildren; Nickolas Norelli and his wife Holly, Katherine Pandiscio and her husband Anthony, Kristina Ruggieri and her husband Nicholas, great-grandchildren, Giuliana, Giada, Adriana, Nickolas, Carmela, and Joseph, special nieces; Martha, Susan, Sandra and Patricia. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter, brothers and sisters-in-law; Anthony and Mary Stromei and John and Julie Stromei.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
