Marie M. Raack, 89, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Rome, NY, on November 1, 1930, daughter of the late William and Anna Marturano Wightman. Marie was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy. She retired from Rome Developmental Center and worked as a monitor at Ridge Mills Elementary School. Marie was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and a former member of St. John's Legion of Mary. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and board games, and spending time with family. Surviving are a sister, Barbara Dibble, Rome, two nephews and spouses; William Dibble and Robert Skibinski, Syracuse, Paul and Catrina Dibble, Clinton, great nieces and nephews; Reed Lennon, Briar Lennon, Maddox Dibble and Lilly Dibble and several beloved cousins. She was predeceased by a niece, Ann Dibble and a brother-in-law, Peter Dibble. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 24, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. The family will receive friends at church from 12:00- 1:00 p.m., prior to the Funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
