Obituary of Elaine M. Barlow

Elaine M. Barlow, 78, of Rome, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY, on July 16, 1941, daughter of the late F. Anthony and Helen Petrelli Dorsino. Elaine graduated from Rome Free Academy and Buffalo State University. She was married to Paul Barlow and had four children. Elaine was a teacher in Carthage, NY, until leaving to raise her children. She retired from Northeast Air Defense Sector in 2012. Elaine is survived by her daughter Sonya (Michael) Ciccone, Lee Center, a son, Eric Barlow, Rome, who took care of her, a son-in-law, Bruce Paquette, grandchildren; Grace and Alex Paquette, Braden and Cooper Barlow. She was predeceased by her parents, F. Anthony and Helen Dorsino, her children; Jill Paquette and Brian Barlow, siblings; Richard and Sharon Dorsino and her loving dogs; Mica and Max. Services are private. There are no calling hours. Spring burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd.
