Jessie V. Cania
Jessie V. Cania, 93, of Rome, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. She was born in Chittenango, N.Y. on Sept. 3, 1916, daughter of the late Rosario and Anna Alessi Vecchio.
In 1947 she married Lawrence Cania. He passed away Sept. 22, 1992. Jessie retired from Jay's Pharmacy, She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and Heritage Doll Club. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are private. There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, Inc., 4277 Middlesettlement Road, New Hartford, N.Y. 13413. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
