Obituary of Nancy A. Tagliere

Nancy A. Tagliere, 87, of Rome, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Abraham House Rome, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse, NY, on January 17, 1933, daughter of the late Arthur John and Dorothy McGarry Cummings. Nancy attended Syracuse Parochial Schools. In 1951 she married Eustacchio "Mac" Tagliere, in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away in 1970. Nancy was a former employee of General Electric in Syracuse and retired from ACS Education Services, Utica. She was a member of St. Peter's Church. Nancy enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing and boating and was a fan of NY Yankees, NY Giants and Notre Dame. Surviving are two daughters, Paula Tagliere, Rome and Maria "Teri" Meyers, Choctaw, OK, grandchildren: Adrian (Andrea) Tagliere, Amanda Iseneker and fiancé Joe Bonanza, Stephanie (Steve) Miller, Cory (Tina) Baker and Kali Zigrino; great-grandchildren: Alexis Iseneker, Brittany Bonanza, Joey Bonanza, Tyler Iseneker, Gianna Tagliere, Savona Zigrino, Joey Zigrino, Gabriele Tagliere, Genevieve Tagliere, Cayden Miller, Dru Miller and Myla Baker. She was predeceased by her husband, Eustacchio "Mac" Tagliere, a son, Tom Tagliere, a daughter, Leslie Baker, grandsons: Joshua Tagliere, Nicholas Baker, Joseph A. Zigrino III, and Shane Wilson, son-in-law, Charles Meyers, and a brother, Arthur "Jack" Cummings. In keeping with the wishes of the family and the COVID-19 Pandemic Funeral Services will be private. There are no calling hours. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Abraham House of Rome, 417 N.
