Obituary of Louise Ceravolo
Louise Ceravolo, 98, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at home. She was born in Rome, NY, of February 12, 1922, daughter of the late Felice and Anna Rose Conti Capponi. Louise graduated from Rome Free Academy. On November 17, 1945 she married Joseph N. Ceravolo in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away on November 1, 1997. Louise was a former employee of the Jewel Box and Revere Copper and Brass. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and a former member of several bowling leagues. Louise enjoyed making ceramics.
Surviving are grandchildren; Christine Ceravolo, Marisa (Cunningham) Frey, Belinda (Ceravolo) Bebo, Joseph A. Ceravolo, Thomas Cunningham and Victoria (Ceravolo) Finley and several great-grandchildren; Dominick and Angelina Richardson, Maria and Layla Ceravolo, Carol and Alyeska Frey, Vincent and Lynley Cunningham, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol L. Ceravolo, a son, Anthony "Dutch" F. Ceravolo, a brother, Peter Capponi and a sister, Ada Hall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St., with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Anyone wishing to attend is required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. Please join us at St. John the Baptist Cemetery,Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of LIfe will be announced after the service.
