Margaret Pettinelli Fontana Mrs. Margaret Fontana, 92, of Naples, FL, passed away after a brief illness, Monday, October 12, 2009, in Colorado with her son and daughter at her side. She was born September 27, 1917 in Rome, NY, daughter of Paul and Theresa (Teta) Nanini Pettinelli. She was married to Alfred (Smitty) Fontana on May 11, 1941 in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away on July 11, 1992 in Naples, FL. Our mother will be remembered for her love of Jesus Christ and undeniable love for her family extended to her cousins and their families. She will be missed by all. Surviving are a daughter, Paula Fontana Larson, of Naples, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judith Fontana, of Rocky Ford, CO; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Flora) Quattro, of Naples, FL; seven grandchildren, who she had a special and unique relationship with all of their lives, Ron Paul Thomas, Palm Beach, FL, Lisa Thomas Wise, Grafton, MA, Teresa Fontana Benner, Glastonbury, CT, Robert A. Fontana, Manlius, NY, Craig Fontana, Cicero, NY, Lisa Fabrizio Robbins, Byers, CO, Eric Fabrizio, Rome, NY; and 13 great grandchildren, Lleyton Alexander Thomas, Briana Lynn and Michael Thomas Wise, Aidan Reilly, Julia Margaret and Megan Katherine Benner, Alexandra Nicole and Adam Michael Fontana, Dylan, Isabela Rose and Giada Fontana, Jesse and Grace Robbins; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Manlius, and a sister, Lucille. A memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., followed by internment at St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
