Louise A. DeAngelo, 90, of Rome, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Canastota, NY, on February 16, 1931, daughter of the late Theodore and Concetta Picece Lumbrazo. Louise was educated in Canastota Schools. On November 3, 1951 she married Dominick "Jr." J. DeAngelo in St. Agatha's Church, Canastota. He passed away January 12, 2011. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law; LuAnn and Jim Donovan, a son and daughter-in-law; Dominick J. III and Samia DeAngelo, all of Rome, five grandchildren; Kristy and Alan Occhino, James Donovan Jr., Kevin Donovan, Dominick J. IV and Amy DeAngelo and Salvatore A. DeAngelo and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and a brother-in-law; Teresa and Sam Bevacqua, Fulton, NY, a brother; Vincent Lumbrazo, Roseville, CA, a sister-in-law; Jean DeAngelo, Durhamville, NY, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick, five brothers and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 12:00 noon at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Anyone wishing to attend is required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Private burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
