Joseph M. Czebeniak
Joseph M. Czebeniak, 93, of Rome, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y. on February 1, 1916, son of the late Michael and Mary Peltz Czebeniak. Joe graduated from the New York State School for the Deaf. He retired from Rome-Turney Radiator Company in 1981. Joe was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Surviving are a sister, Linda Vandeburgh, Rome; and several nieces and nephews, Judy (Chris) McCarthy, Barbara (Joe) Muscarella, all of Rome, Mary Ann (Andy) Anderson, Verona; and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Ann Simon, Jay Kobus and Mary Dent.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
