Obituary of Nicholas J. Amuso

Nicholas J. Amuso, 50, of North Bay, NY, and formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born in Rome, NY, on August 8, 1971. Nick was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Nick was a self-taught guitar and drum musician. He was a devoted heavy metal music artists lover. Nick was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local #9 for over twenty- one years, Union Stage Hand #632, Met Life Stadium Group, Moving Pictures Technical Artists and Allied Crafts of The United States, it's territories and Canada. His career gave him the opportunity to meet many famous musicians and a wide variety of celebrities. Nick traveled to many different states, taking many pictures along his journeys and had a humorous way of sharing them. He was a Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and with his two cats, Baby Girl and Bubbah. Nick was the life of any get together. He loved to make people laugh. He will always be loved and deeply missed. Surviving are his parents, Joan and Larry Hills, Rome, a brother, Matthew Hills, Thorton, CO, a sister, Tennille Amuso, Richmond, VA, several cousins, special friends, including Shane Meyers, Joseph and Vanessa Acquasanta and Sean Monahan. Joan expresses a special thank you to Dawn Walker for being a part of my son's life for four years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., at the Nicholas J.
