I only knew Pilar for 3 short years while at Walsh. During that time I found her to be a kind, caring and generous person who helped to make sure I graduated on time with my class. I am forever grateful for that. Also remembered, is her opening up her home on several occasions for a fantastic dinner with her husband Santiago, nephew Steve D'Amore and several other Walsh Romans.
Rest in peace Pilar and condolences to your entire family. I know you will be missed and remembered.
