Margaret T. Hoyt, 96, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Rome Health Residential Healthcare Facility. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 20, 1925, daughter of the late James and Winnfred Jordan Raney. Margaret married the late Clarence Hoyt, who passed away in May of 1974. She was a former employee of Rome Art and Community Center. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and liked to shop.

Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie Rienzo, Rome, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Jeffery Hoyt and a brother, John Raney, Sr.
